Don't worry about the feedback Bill, after whooping the $h1t out of a 320hp turbocharged super beetle, you can get to Sonic any damned way you want. :D
FYI: Next Sonic Cruise - In, West Palm Beach, FL: Sat Dec 19, 2009 6pm, but most of us regulars will be heading further south to FtLauderdale that night for the Bash -->

Hey, I'm trying to get my car running to bring it out this weekend.
It hasn't run since January.
Rebuilt the carbs, reinstalled in March. (left dry)
Painted the car last month.
Installed new battery last week.
Now...
Cranks good, plenty of gas out the weber carb shooters.
No spark from the coil to the cap.
Ignition wires to the coil look okay.
What wires should I check ???

Tony, I don't have a thing to prove and no time to waste on foolishness
Greg, if your coil is getting 12v when the key is on, each time the points open up as the engine spins, they make the coil fire. So check ignition, coil, or points. |

I drove through the parking lot at 9:10 PM and it looked like a ghost town. The only car in the place was an old rusty four door Chevy.
I guess everyone was out doing their last minute Christmas shopping...
Here's hoping the January Sonic Nite will be better !!! |
