I'm searching for the color code for a Vanagon Wolfsburg '89 "blue star" to do a few touch-ups. Does someone know the code or can i find it somewhere on the van (sticker)?

Thanks

I think this is what you are looking for:

http://www.gti16v.com/vwcc1989.htm

Unless the tri-stars used different colors. Change the year in the URL to get color codes for a different year VW. Handy little link.

That was fast!!!!!

I saw this page, the closest i found was Dove Blue Metallic, but the color description of my van is Blue Star...(or Star Blue).

Guess for small touch-up, i wouldn't be that bad 'cause it seems real close. Where could i find a small can of paint? Is the color codes good for any manufacturers?

Thanx again

Try paintscratch.com.It helps to have the paint code which is usually on a sticker near the fuse box,if it's still there.

STAR BLUE METALLIC paint code... D5T sales code.. 9016

The paint code on your van can be found on a silver sticker under your passenger seat, inside the front cover of your service book or on the white paper sticker that was attached to the door post.
The sales code is what dealers used to order the van in the colour the customer wanted.
