I want equal track width front and back. I'm using 4'' x 5'' trailing arms in the rear and i'd like to use 4'' x 1 3/4''wider trailing arms in the front. My question is, to get equal track width (or close to it) what size beam should I go with in the front?

Thanks!

I'd go get a tape measure, find the outside width of your rear tires, then find the outside width of the front tires on the beam you have now, then do some math.

If say:
The rear is 68"
and the front is 63"

..and the new front arms will add 1.75" per side (3.5" overall)

If you put those arms on your current beam, it would be 66.5"
...you would be 1.5" short of 68"

So then measure the width of the beam (not the tires) and add 1.5" to that.
...thats the length the new beam needs to be.

Make sense?

sure it makes sence but I dont have any of the OG parts to go off of. As far as the back I'm still waiting on my brakes and wheels and tires. It's going to be shipped of for the cage to be done soon and I'd like to send the new beam along with it so it comes back a rolling chassis.

depends on the offset of the wheels as well...

ive got 3X3s, 6in beam with 1.75 X4in. longer arms.

my front and rear will be damn close due to the offset of the wheels. and thats almost 4" difference. i have no idea the measurement though.
