It may be nice of you could find the with vacuum distributor to go with you stock looking engine, and would probably make your bus feel more responsive :0)

oooh not Mango mate, it's nothing like it - that's Birch Green. I got the nod so to speak from this Australian brochure
Now, that could be Beryl Green but I've always lusted over Birch Green so that's what it is. |

Cheers fellas,
Without sounding like an Oscar winner in my tuxedo, my gracious thanks go to
Marcus Osborne - for managing the entire resto from the 2000km round trip to pick the van up to the last adjustments at 7am on the day of the show. Legend.
From this
to this
Michael O'leary - bodywork
Andrew Sewell - paintwork
Well done lads =D> :D |

| You need to try to get this in Hot VWs. They always use the excuse that there are no show quality Bays to feature so that is why they don't but this definitely fits the bill. |

Thanks - just spent a while looking at your site, lovely bus and you certainly have been lucky with your seats and sliding door - the VW Gods favour you, keep burning your offerings. I had an absolute nightmare trying to find a solid door, didn't and repaired the original...eventually. |

Really? I would have thought there would be a heap of restored bays worthy of a feature, if not in the US certainly in the UK. There was a gorgeous window van parked next to me at the show on Sunday that was just as clean, so that's another here in Australia already...
Thanks for the compliment! |

Cheers Grazy, yeah I've been on early bay, nice site, I 'know' Clem off justkampers and Volkszone. Nice people there. I'll check out your van :)
Incidently, my situation has changed since the van was finshed, i'm now in the UK with a work opportunity and the van is back in Sydney. It had a day out the other weekend at a surf carnival but I'm obviously not going to get the use out of it in the other side of the world so I'm considering selling it. I'll put a thread up in the correct place but I'm looking for $24k aussie dollars. Van is in Sydney. |
