i agree with Jonnypan one will raise again if they choose to, i also once lost my family cj5 jeep, a vw thing and my most beloved w123 and a '61 germany vespa along with 2 other vespa for paying up me and my brothers study.. the second i get a job i start saving money and buy back what i lost back there although what i have still isnt compare what i have back there but i do start from scratch as i do learn one thing, i shall not buy thing that i cant keep it neither its in maintance till the cost of making it running and the most important is everything that i buy shall never distrube my retirement saving especially my future family saving or the regret will come back again..
best regard

Well, here's the update. I've had a lot of people interested in it, some serious, some, well, you know how it goes...
I'm currently talking with a very respected member of the VW community and Samba member about giving this car a new home. I know he will do it justice and bring it back to life without losing it's historical qualities. I'll keep you updated as I can. As much as I'd love to keep it, there just isn't any way I can, and holding onto it in hopes that one day in the future I could restore it 'right', just isn't smart or fair. If it goes where I hope it does, it will be excellent hands. |

| The deal has been completed. The car will soon be heading to the west coast to it's new, loving home. I have COMPLETE confidence it will receive the love and care I wish I could have given it. The new owner is a very talented, respected member of the VW community and a Samba member, I'm very pleased with where it is going to be:). |
