Title says it all, mostly. 1986 2.1L automatic.
I noticed this morning that when I stopped at a red light (with the shift lever at drive), the van seemed to surge once every few seconds or so, like the transmission was trying to engage.
When I moved the shift lever to park, no such problem.
Later in the morning, the problem went away.
Other probably irrelevant info: it's been raining here almost continuously for the past four days.
Any Samba wisdom would be greatly appreciated. |
