T-dogg Sterns, preppin' the canvas..... that tin is fitting those intakes like a glove....nice work.

Blimey!!

You seem to be going at quite a pace - you're putting me to shame :(

What carb kit are you using there?

Keep up the inspirational work.

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks Dave.
Yes, trying to orchestrate this entire car in a couple-few months is proving to be no joke. Time commitment just getting things organized and timed right, and then making them happen has definitely made me question going for it or not in short order (runnin' all over the place, on the phone and internet all day long). Already falling a tad behind schedule so we'll see how it goes.

There is no way it will get done without the help of some close friends who are obviously already on top of it with me. The fun is definitely in the journey and I look forward to late nights in the garage with the fellas over the next few weeks if ye 'ol day job (or ye 'ol lady, t-ball, swimming lessons, etc....) doesn't put a stop to it...... countless hours of BSing and tossing around ideas, and now slowly bringing the vision to life with some friends is what it's all about......

Oh, and that's an Okrasa Kit on there.

Can you find me a driver's side reinforcement panel, the one that goes in between the door and the front crossmember? The rust has gotten to the bottom of mine and ate it away. I'm doing a resto on a 69 'vert.

Goddam son. That case is looking like new
Can't wait to see it all finished with the special trinkets mounted
Nice job on the fan shroud too! Saw it at Juans.

Hey A-trizz, that rear seat bottom will be finished this afternoon. It's looking nice broham. I'll bring it over tonight so it can be coated.

The Okrassa kit is looking sweet - I'm going downt he Judson route myself and really looking forward to it (but have a year to wait realistically)

I took it to Jerry @ Northwest Connecting Rod here in Seattle. He washed it like 3 times and soda blasted it??? (I think). I can't remember exactly what he blasted it with, but I know he washed it multiple times. That case didn't even need an align bore....it is good to go @ standard.....lucked out on that. Anyhow, I think they did a great job on the case.

I can find out more details on his exact process if you'd like.....

I'm always one who is eager to learn, so why not? I've heard mixed reviews on soda blasting a case with people saying the soda ash will clog the passageways. I'm certain that would be due to not ensuring a thorough washing and cleaning.

A little work on the back seat bottom. Replaced the front facing, and wood. Fixed a few bends. Now off to get powdercoated.
