Yeah, I'll get some more pics up soon. I'm having some serious pc problems. (home pc down, work pc hardrive is going tits up....all at once ugh...)
Yep, those are Wagens West adjusters... Mixedup59 hooked up the beam and put 'em on.
and those are the standard dust caps that came with the BAD brakes...I had them chromed though.
Thanks again guys for the nice words, I owe ya some responses but hate typing on my phone.....I'll get some more thread action going with pics when I get this pc mess taken care of.
Should have the car at vintage meet (as long as I'm not out of the country for work) |

Alan, really nice to meet you and your crew last weekend. Gorgeous car, the attention to detail is amazing, had to make a few passes to take everything in, and I'm sure I still missed some things.
Take it easy,
Dustin |

Thanks guys!...
Dustin, nice meeting y'all too. I thought the weather was going to hold people back, but very impressed with the turnout! Awesome day and I met a lot of very cool people. Assume you're heading to the Portland show? I might roll my bus down, we'll see so looking forward to catching up again! |

Nice Shots from Alan U at the Great Canadian. They put on an awesome show, it was a great day, real cool people and venue.... shout out to Curt K for hooking me up with the spot when we showed up late (damn border patrol made us "pull into lane 2" and ran background checks on all us).
Photos below from Alan U on the AirSpeed site...

And don't get caught slippin' with a loose blinker switch!!! - Caught Slippin' - fixed it shortly after this photo....

Quote: What's up with the number 7 on the car?
Was going for a Rally Theme on the car...something a little different on top of the resto-cal look.
Vintage Speed Motor, bullet mirrors, headlight grills, foglights, rally gauges, fumagallies, disk brakes (ok, not so period but....), bumper guards, helmet, I think the flash trim looks a little race-ish, etc.....
Set it up with Dash-mounted stopwatch (Heuer Monte Carlo 3 button on the glovebox) and then I also have a couple Halda Tripmasters (early TM1's) but I haven't mounted one yet. They are for Time-Distance-Speed Rally's of which many cars run numbers .....thus the numbers on my car. The 7 because it's a lucky number, one of my old BMX numbers from back in the day, and the car is a '57. I also have several other rally bits....'57 ADAC badges, NOS ADAC First Aid kit, vintage fire extinguishers, old-school rally books, TDS Circular slide rule Calculator, etc....
I think the numbers may add some visual horsepower too
We'll see if any of it ever gets used  ... the numbers are magnetic, so they come off easy (and don't stick all that well either...probably due to the paint thickness....would likely fly off on the freeway). I thought they looked kind of cool though so I put them on for the show this time. |
