| I recently had my 200mm flywheel resurfaced and when I gave it to the machinist I told him it was out of a 1972 Bus which it is. I have a 1776cc Type 1 engine installed. Since the 72 Bus had the Type 4 engine with 210mm flywheel will the clutch surface of my flywheel be out of spec, causing my clutch to slip or will I just have to adjust the clutch cable to compensate for this. The engine is out at this time. And both steps of the flywheel have been resurfaced. |

The critical dimension is that between the surface of the pressure plate mounting surface and the friction face of the flywheel. If he cut both the same amount, you will have adequate clamping force.
