I finally found a couple of the green ones at Wal-Mart last night, along with a Thing and Baja I've never seen before. They're the only green ones I've been able to find.

I finally found a red one at wal-mart after months and months of searching...

a week later they had another one, but instead of buying every single one i come across, i thought i would give someone else a chance :lol:

Found this in Meijer tonight. It's a Matchbox 10 pack set, but only two are VW's. Had to buy the whole pack for 2 cars.
Some sort of VW panel wagon with "Genuine VW Parts" on it, and a Green Thing. Never seen a green one before.

Was gonna post about this last night...got 2 sage green and one red..underneath the body it says Volks t-2 1970.. And this came from a grocery store in upstate N.Y. named "Shop-Rite". I went home sooo happy!!! No digital camera but I think you can envision it!!

I got a green one from an O'Reily's Auto parts, took it home, painted it to match my pastel white '72 ( I even took it apart and painted the interior) :D :D :D GOD I WISH I HAD A DIGITAL CAMERA, THIS THING ROCKS!!

I made a website, started posting pics of my collection.... I need to take some more pics! It's been over a month, no additions. Thanks for the reminder. I have a crapload of cars in a box, waiting to get photographed.

wal mart had those beetles with the for sale sign. check the samba classifieds in the toy section. usually some in there

I found the red Matchbox busses in Winnipeg at the Empress St. Walmart , and the sage green ones are at the Portage Ave. Superstore. I JB Welded 2 rare earth magnets to the bottom of a green one, and it's our dashboard mascot, and now I'm waiting for the orange ones to show up here, since our first bus was a '73 orange Westy.
