I bought a set of 6, 1/72 pickups a while back. They are made by Hogwell and sold as "Cararamas". They have a few cool vw, porsche, and audi models.

| Just out of curiosity, did anyone see the John Stossel program this past week? It was all about Lead in toys, and how the Govt, is making removal of most toys from the shelves from stores and goodwills stores and the likes. so what you have just might be the last ones you find. they said there was a law where donation stores throw all toys away because of the lead content! So warning dont suck on your old toys. |

Not a Bay I know, but I made a resin cast of this splitty single cab a few years ago for a 1/64 full functional RC.
For scale
Also modded a body to make this cabriolet.

I started a little website a couple weeks ago...
http://davidcolecreative.com/toys/wordpress/
Just posted my new Matchbox Bus.... It's in the third slot right now, but it will get pushed down as I add to it. I have a lot more tiny VW toys waiting for photos to be taken.

I should post my wall of collections.
I don't have any bay windows in them though, except maybe the Nick JR. one I have and the Spongebob set I have? |

Hey Batan, Skid, BusDaddy and other Canucks: If you find these anywhere could you let me know where? I've checked about 6 of the major stores while running other errands, and they are nowhere to be found. I would appreciate a good lead on these, north of the 49th. Thanks.

Why, when I scroll this thread in the Bay Window Bus forum, do I see so many splittys, Ghias, waterboxers, porsches, bugs and other nonsense?
Anyway, I just go this one on eBay for pretty cheap, and it's really nice! 1:74 scale (slightly smaller than a Matchbox) and very detailed. Love those rubber ties. You can find them under the name "oxford diecast"

Same paint scheme as mine, but mine's not a camper. |
