Jeez, it must be Christmas time....
Several hours have passed and none of the purists have been on moaning about your missing parts or oil cooler setup  |

Here's my 1971 Super Beetle. Only had the car a few months and these forums have been excellent reading.
My carb is a 30/31 PICT and has something connected to the vacuum port (just left of the alternator wheel and above the fuel pump). My distributor doesn't have a vacuum advance. I assume that either the distributor or carb had been replaced by a PO? Any ideas?
(And yes, I plan on moving my fuel filter!)

I may as well join the "crowd" and post the pics of my squirrels cage. It's just your average run of the mill 69 Bug with this amazing, super high horsepower and even higher torque singleport 1500cc that totally defies logic, physics and mechanics!! :D Oh wait, nevermind...I was day dreaming again.

you should put a squirrel cage there, (with squirrel) and some peanuts.
then pronounce your fuel costs for peanuts.
how many nuts per mile. NPM. |

Then you could stop worrying about how much corn is in your gas and start worrying about how much gas is in your corn!
Anyway, not much of a 'bay'...
