The headliner would have had a hole cut in it for the sunroof anyways. Plus, would you want to weld with the headliner in place? Don't think so.... |

Oooo. Burnt orange shag. Then you could call it the "Shaggin' Wagon". How hip is that??? |

| I just fixed the sun roof on my 75 Super beetle. Took 1/2 roll of duct tape. |

It is a parts car. I am just trying to keep the weather out of the inside.
The sun roof doesnt close right, and I did not want to spend the time to fix it.
If you think that is bad, you should see the back window that the fire department knocked out. I did not have a late model glass, so a 58-59 one worked, (with duct tape) |

| Nice guys. The headliner was a bit crusty so I cut it out in front of the bow that would be near the drivers head. I didn't want to risk catching the headliner or padding on fire when welding as that could be a disaster. |

I know the headliner would have had a hole cut in to it but I think if I was doing it I would have carefully pulled the headliner back form the windshield and the pinch welt and put a welding blankets over the headliner area and repaired the headliner before reinstalling it now it needs a complete headliner and that job is never fun but that's just me and my 2cents :D |

| The car has been removed from the classifieds and has a deposit for a sale. I'll let those that have emailed me interested in the car if the deal falls through but don't count on it. Joel |
