Hey guys....
I'm really into video games. Was just wondering of any of you have found good games with classic VW's in them. For PC, XBOX360, PS3 and WII
I found one... GTI Racing.
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/driving/gtiracing/index.html
It has early bugs, buses and Baja's to rabbits and cabriolets. The graphics are kinda early 2000'ish but it's still fun.
Buy and download it here for $4.99 yes... 5 bucks: http://store.steampowered.com/app/3000/
I know there are a few racing games that have GTI's and Rabbits and stuff... But what about Beetles and Buses?
I'm on the hunt. |

Are you kidding me? I grew up in the video game era man. Spending most of my time in arcades. Does that mean I'm gay? WTF is that supposed to mean?
I'm 38 years old, married with 3 kids and have a full on arcade in my shop. Gay... What ever dude... Go have aerial intercourse through a circulating pastry.
Now, back on topic.
I know the need for speed series had Rabbits, R32's and GTI's. Even some crappy New Beetles. |

Ahhhh, Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong game. The one I'm thinking of was a cheezy game that Hewlett Packard put out. You drive a little VW Beetle round a track on a table. Had to pick up photo's and printer ink.
Lemme see If I can find the game your talking about. |

There was a game for the N64 called San Francisco Rush. It had a bug and a bus. The bus was mostly a bay (back and sides) but had a split front. I remember the best part was that you could hunt around and find a "skatepark" underground where you could go nuts and freestyle. Tons of fun back in the day!

You can see the back of the bus in this video, and the bug as well. |

I can't remember for sure but I think when you download the game it's limited by time (30 trial) or like a demo (limited play). Then if you want the full version it's like $19.99 for the activation code. There are literally dozens and dozens of mods for the game and their all free. You can race just about everything. VERY cool game. |
