Awesome buses Barndoors are, I been checking the pictures thread and just wondered why do some barndoors don't have a rear bumper? was it an option? What year did it became standard?

| rear bumper was not introduced until 1953. It was added at different times for different models with the first model being deluxe, then microbus/kombi/panel, then truck. Rear bumper was an m-coded option after it was introduced on deluxes, but was standard on all vehicles by late 53. |
