A buddy of mine from a Dodge forum just picked up this beauty the other day. The previous owner apparently couldn't finish it, and he got a hell of a deal on it.

Is this a one off chassis, or can it be picked up somewhere?

I'd almost drive it as it sits. Add a floor, a firewall, and some other safety features and it would be a great street rod.

I thought it had thicker tubes, but thats just a gusset along the tubing. Pretty freakin cool if you ask me, but I'd re-inforce it for a side impact just in case.

Its's a Dodge Dakota forum.

I've been in the hunt for a Manx for awhile, and saw that thing. Just fell in love. I'd like to find a similar design and make a street rod out of it.

Wasnt that thing for sale on here. I thought it was kind of cool but the guy was asking a steep price for it.

I think that was for sale on ebay. Is it just me, or do half the vehicles I see on ebay have a scotch under the tire to keep them from rolling off? Must just be a problem with vehicles so there. :lol:
