I bought a trailer hitch from Karl, the ad said it would fit my late Baywindow. It arrived from PA to NC very quickly, but sadly it did not fit my bus. I wrote to explain the situation and he refunded the full purchase price, including shipping, BEFORE I had even mailed the part back.

As far as I am concerned this is a great guy and I would not have hesitation in doing business with him again.

Karl is a man of his word.
I bought a distributor from him with the Pretronix which failed nearly right away.
He was great and refunded the lions share of the purchase price and I would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Highly recommended.

Bought NOS German oil cooler from Karl late last Thursday night & told him I didn't need it right away. But he went out & shipped it bright & early Friday morning & it was delivered Monday. So obviously he's taking things seriously. Plus he's still selling parts that say "Made in Western Germany" on them. Buying off TheSamba doesn't get any better than that.

I have bought more than a dozen items so far and karl has been a star when it comes to saving me money on shipping while packing the parts as if they were fresh eggs. I just bought a whole bunch of NOS parts from Karl for my 1960 bug. I check his listings regularly and would buy from him again.
