Ned,
If you can get to the internet, check this website out. The members are mostly in Flagstaff or the Verde Valley.

| That is good to know Towd. I will be able to broaden my search a little more. Hell I would buy another carb if need be. I just had a chat with a kid her in Flagstaff and he says that he gets most stuff on line and didnt know of a parts/repair house here. So I figure that I have till noon tomorrow then I will be here another 2 days. Not a bad place to be stuck but I am really trying to make Eureka springs by thurs. |

| I have looked at the airs site and called a few people. 2 nombers were disconn and 1 hasn`t called back but I have a couple of optons to check here after a valve adjust. During my ascent up here My bus was running a little hot and I think if I could fatten it up a little it may help. I am headed east to Arkansas for the Eureka springs VW show. |

There are a lot of Dubs and Dub people around there. And wads more down the hill a bit. A big bunch of folks with parts. The KOA managers know about everyone.

If the KOA folks can't help you, Ken's Import Auto on Butler Avenue is the best air-cooled repair place in town. I've done business with them for years and highly recommend them. Unfortunately they won't open until Monday.
If running lean because of thin air is your problem, don't forget that the elevation drops off quickly when you leave Flagstaff and nothing on the way to the show is anywhere near as high in altitude. |

| I apologize for the delay in my response. It was mostly a case of altitude sickness. I also needed to slow down.Justin and Janielle were great and I thank evryone for their help. And thanks for the chat Tony Cola |

The weather is going to be great in Eureka this weekend, low 80's and so far, no chance of rain.
Safe travels |

High altitude will cause a rich condition. Higher altitude = Less air than fuel ratio. |
