Jeez, I hate my hydraulic throttle! Mine must be more sensitive to heat 'cause just going on a run generates enough heat to mess my idle up!
I actually found this thread 'cause I'm looking to replace mine with a Morse setup...
I think the hydraulic is PIA to bleed and keep adjusted correctly, and the pedal feel is mushy and latent. Might just be mine, but most of the Glamis folks I know avoid them.
BTW -- the car is a Mazzone mid-engine...
