YES ITS TRUE,
I just sold my 2165 turbo EFI vw motor for 5,000 dollars and came across a evo X motor for sale for 3,000 complete
:twisted: Im going to put the evo x motor in my baja =D>
I need to find a place or find someone who can find a place to get my computer stripped. As it is going in a off road vehicle i need to get the computer striped of smog control, airbag sensor, ABS, Cat blah blah blah blah...
anyone know what i can do? Or suggest any other mods...i already have Kennedy Engineering in Lancaster doing the adapter plate for me to the 002 Box.

| talk to these guys http://www.enginewiring.com/ they should be able to help. and good luck, sounds like you'll need an adapter as well. |

| If you wanted to lose the fuel injection you could go with a carb and megajolt, if you wanted to go with fuel injection you could run megasquirt. |

the motor is out of a 2008 lancer evo. complete with fuel injection and computer. just a matter of stripping the computer and harness of the un-necessary stuff. |

i just need the comp reworked...ii have everything else complete. and kennedy will be making my adapter plate |
