| I have the rear torsions apart. I am attempting to reinstall the bearing assembly and stubs. Question is.... should the stubs, once installed, be able to turn easily by hand or should they be stiff. Mine are pretty stiff right now, is this normal? Or is something wrong. |

they should turn freely by hand. you might try unbolting the outer bearing cap, make sure everything is aligned, and re tighten.
i dont have the diagram handy, but make sure you have the spacers, and everything in the correct position. |

| The Bearing cap is off. I installed the inner ball bearing and then the c-clip. Then I put in the inner grease seal in. Now I am not quite clear on how to install the spacer and stub. Do I put the spacer on the stub and pound the stub through? If I put the spacer in the grease seal and try to push the stub through it pushes the spacer in behind the seal and sits in the housing against the bearings. Trick maybe? Is the spacer suppose to remain seated in the grease seal? |

| the spacer should stay in the seal. you can put the axle in, bearing cap on, then should still be able to slide the spacer on. |
