| I was wondering about bajas that have no titles. There is a baja that i saw that is for sale but doesnt have a title. Is there a way to get it titled without having the orignal title. |

| sure check and make sure the car still has a vin plate, contact your DMV, they can run the vin, if it is out of the system they will tell you what you have to do, if its still in they will get you the paperwork you will need to sign from the last Owner of title. |

Broadway Title.
certain southern states did not have titles until the feds twisted their arm, back about '82. these states have a mechanism for creating titles. VIN is checked against NCIC. if it isn't stolen, you get a title.
some states won't take a title from those southern states. you may have to bounce the title off yet another state to get a free and clear title in your state. |

also might contact the local PD and make sure the VIN doesn't pop up as stolen.
Might sound silly, but there have some nice cars get returned to the correct owner much to their new owners dismay. |
