if your looking to get a deal and buy a non running bug , add engine ,parts ,body work , your average will be 3000 ,buy one running around 3000 , unless someone did all the work and sells at a quarter of cost your going to pay , remember its for fun ! and you did it :D now do some baja ---------------- hotdiesel80

i think it all depends on what you're gonna do. if you just plan on mainly a daily driver that you occasionally take through a mud puddle here and there. then 2500 at most, as long as it all checks out with a local mechanic, and drives decent(straight). another thing, check the brakes(pads) and make sure they work well. if your pads are going or you have to pump the breaks to build good pressure that could be some money and time fixing. If you plan on bajaing as much as street driving(what i do) then it looks a little to "pretty" for that. i would be afraid of getting it dirty. If you have the rescources and time i would try to find a shell and pan for cheap and build from there if you're gonna be bajaing it alot. just my .02

wait for the one you really want, right now everyone is trying to sell a baja its a perfect time to buy one and buy parts or whatever you need.

that one does look clean though if you wanna do a little work to it it would be pretty fun off road.
if you just wanna drive on the street that looks real nice, alot nicer than my baja and i've spent a good 1500 in aftermarket parts and the like on it. not even including how much the car was worth before i chopped it up (admittedly probably like 100 dollars, the only spot the pan isn't rusted is under the battery, weird huh?)
