hey wats up guys, had another quick question about my baja, in my previous car i ran a 780 watts amp with two 300 watts bazooka, i also had to mid range speakers, i was wondering if my baja can power all this or if im going to have battery issues, also if it is going to give me a problem what is the best thing to do. is it complicated to add a new battery or is there a easier way to do this, i believe my alternator is stock unless the previous owner changed it.
thanks guys |

| I used to run 2 10's and a 1400 watt amp on my S10, even with an over 100 amp alternator it still dimmed the lights to an annoying level when I had it even remotely loud. I am going to definately say "no" on that setup. Fab up a bracket and run a GM style 2 wire alternator or 1 wire alternator and get a 100+ amp alternator and a larger battery. |

off stock the engines had generators. so unless you or the previous owner changer it its a generator.
i know almost nothing about these cars but you could tell by the way that it looks.
ill try to find some pics.
the only thing different is that the generator only puts out like 30ish amps (not positive on that, someone correct me if im wrong)
but a alternator puts out alot more so if you wanted to run alot of power its going to max out the generator REALLY fast. |
