My 83 Westfalia starts fine on a cold start, but turns over and over not firing on a hot start. Runs just fine when its going.

You need a fuel pressure guage. Then you can check the residual fuel pressure. Either the valve in the pump is bad or the fuel pressure regulator is going (it has a one way valve to maintain fuel pressure when the engine is turned off. Either one can effect the hot start. The other checks would be the temp 2 sensor lots posted on that.
