But i think I like it when it looks new..... So I had to build a shelf today to get a system in all the parts. And I have to admit that its nice to look at the shelf and see all the nice clean parts.....
Where did you get that poster from? I want one!
if I remember correctly, I got mine off of eBay... |

Saturday I mounted the rear beam and sprayed the bottom with some bodycoat.
Flipped it over and started to put together the frontbeam, new needle bearings (thanks to Bert3) and mostly finished. Having an issue with one of the old tie rods. Wont come off so I have to think of a good way to get it off from the "tube" dont know if thats the right word.... All the parts to get brakes in front are finished. I like it...

Well the fuchs are finally done, and am I glad.......
Doing progress with the axles.. the inner spacer in the axels are not the same on short vs long ones. The dark one is from the long axle and you can see it has another profile.
The outer spacer are the same.
The bearing house is also different so this must also be from the short axle to get the bearing to fit.
And today I cleaned the engine so now it looks like one....... :-)
Just going to have this pretty standard and maybe build a bigger one later...

| Think it is 0.9mm. Easy to work with when making all the profiles. |

| It is the inner spacer nr 20. This spacer is right on to the axle and before the bearing. I can make some pics if you want to.[/i] |

The progress here is not the best in the country but its winter and cold as the north pole in my garage. But in the basement I have a room to fix all kind of things and ofcourse the right temperature. Have been collecting some nice original parts this summer and they all needed some love to be perfect. So I guess pictures tells more than thousand words.....

Finally got the rear hubs back. 2mm on the inside and 13mm on the outer side. Fit perfect. Some issues with the plate where the rubber stops on the spring plate but the grinder fix that problem so that the wheels have clearance. I think its good... So i hope that in a couple of weeks the chassie will be on top of this...
