i spotted this bus when i went to go pick up some parts from Kens Custom VW (parts shop in san diego).
He said he has owned this thing for years. Dont kno if it runs or not.
He then started telling me that its a registered R.V.
Venture wagen i believed he called.
Did a quick search on it here. Didnt find anything.
I saw a vid clip of Zach Galifanakis (fat guy from the hangover) and he was driving one of these.
Very interesting dont ya think?
Or does this just show my very lil knowledge on vw? haha oh well
just thought i'd share this with all ya'll :)

I'm not a big fan of the high top campers. Are they any worse in the wind wind than a regular bus?

This bus is tits

Plus it has a racing stripe and he is a fellow Coloradoan.

I have no affiliation with this bus other than a couple of photos in my favorite pics.

Not a huge fan of hightops myself especially the whale tail looking ones but some look pretty good. The useability factor about maybe standing in it anytime you want without popping up a westy top is cool

Same here. I'll be putting an Adventurewagon top on my westy as soon as the original tent finally dies. Back when I thought high tops where ugly, I still knew they where more versatile than a hardtop. You can't argue with more room to move, more of the time.
