Nah, I wouldn't do that. I want a removable hard-cased tent like Autohome makes :)

There are two hi-tops on the Seattle Craigslist this week - neither by that name. One listed under "camper" the other under "van" or "bus". I sure wish I had some acreage to stash some buses.
