I have a 68 bay, and have a question about the front passenger seat.
My front passenger seat sits in it brackets but when sitting on the seat the bottom seems to slope downward to the front of the seat. So it makes you feel like you are sliding forward on your butt. I replaced some crappy aftermarket seats with original seat frames that I cleaned, painted, and recovered with the hair pads and upholstery. There was not any sort of bumper or anything on the frames along the front edge of the bottom.
Should there be some screwed to the frame so that it rest on them and raises the front edge of the seat bottom? If so can anyone post a photo of said rubber bumper or let me know if someone reproduced it? or maybe the bumper is attached to the seat pedastal?
Thanks |

| There should be one of these on the inboard side of the pedestal and a roughly 3/16" thick square of rubber (approx 1.5"X1.5") glued down under the mat on the outer side. |

I knew there should be something under there.
thanks for the response Busdaddy.
I will get to work fabricating something and order one of those stoppers from WW. |

| WW shows that part is for buses up to 74. Did post-74 buses use anything like this under the passenger seat? |

| I'll have a look at a couple tomorrow but I'd think it should be up to 76 when the seat tracks changed. |

| There are rubber stops on the backs only. The passenger seat has just 2 positions. Both of which arent too different from each other. I put in a foot rest bar 6 inches off the floor. That allows the passenger a change in hip rotation. |
