hi to all

i have 1975 T2 camper van

i wanna to rebuild it and need the help of my friends in here

i start the rebuilding about 3 month ago

now the car is under paiting

i come and pick the pics of the level of rebuilding

now ihave some questions

i have service and repair manual of this car(haynes) its PDF it dont have wiring diagram and i wanna to repair the wiring myself
can any body help me?

you can glad me with your suggestions on my car

Get a Bentley service manual. It has the wiring diagrams.

And replace those fuel lines!!!

The wiring in the Bentley may not apply to a bus that wasn't US or Canada delivered, I'm thinking out poster isn't from around here, Vintagebus.com has the international diagrams.

now i decide to buy an engine 1600cc

old engine was 412(2000cc) with two carbration but we cant repair it in our country so i should buy an 1600cc engine

then burn the paint and repair the body

Hey Mehran Mo

Where are you from? Paint burning is just an archaic concept and certainly not healthy for the person doing the work or the environment. Something wrong with using a stripping agent, media blasting, or regular old elbow grease and sandpaper?

The area you circled (what does do it?)... it's a breather line/overflow for the sink plumbing. The sink drain leaves through the bottom of the bus & there is a pvc pipe that is T'd into the drain line and exits the bus through the wall just behind the white piece you've circled. If you forget to unscrew the drain and start running water it will exit through that line and run down the side of your bus. Also aids in evaporation of water left in the line.

Looking good!

What kind of heater do you have?
I'd start on that wiring by untangling and cleaning everything, then start connecting the main harness to the fuse box per the diagrams and work your way out from there. Feel free to add questions to this thread if you get stuck.

Out here lurking and looking at all that dirt, and then the paint burning... had my doubts, but that bus sure looks great now.

The wiring spaghetti is just what it looks like when the dash is removed; same all over! Use the schematic Bleyseng listed, and (personal suggestion) tape labels on the wires as you identify them, to make it easier the next time.

Peering through the open engine hatch, I'm confused as to what kind of an engine really is in there. Doesn't look anything like any Type 1, 2, 3, or 4 engine I've had, or any VAG w/c for that matter. That fan looks like something off one of my Ford V8s!

In which country are you located?

Congratulations on a beautiful restoration so far. Really looks good.

now the car don't have engine and we are wating to find a healthful engine and then fix it on the car

before there was a Golf engine (golf1992) on the car and the radiatore that you see in that pic is the radiator of this engine but now i wanna to buy a 1600cc air cooled engin

about the heater take a pic and take it here

im a little confused that what diagram should i use

They are the same but the vintaebus one has much better detail.
Is your heater under the bus or in the engine compartment on the left side?

We still don't know where you are located, does it get cold there? The stock heater that uses heat exchangers works fairly well in moderate climates, if it's snowy 6 months of the year and you want to drive in it you really need an Eberspacher gas heater, either a BN-4 or a BA-6, there's also modern units like the Propex but theu also include modern prices :shock:
