OMG. I really hope you recover everything, and the asshats who did this get caught. A few years ago, some guys had busted open my workshop, and stole an almost brand new mower (i bought it new for $900 a year before). i couldn't tell you how bad i felt, and how helpless i felt. and it was only over a $900 mower. so i couldn't imagine loosing prolly over $20K worth of stuff. Hang in there man. i wish you the best of luck. i live in georgia, and i doubt they will come this far, but in the off chance they do, you better believe i'll call the police, and follw them. Sand rails are pretty rare around here (running ones, anyway  ). Best of luck.

I hope they get caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I honestly think that this is worse then a car getting stolen... good luck finding those bastards.

i would definately be scouring any kind of local classifieds, as well as craigslist. also, might want to try searching for parts, and see if you can find if anyone is selling the parts off the rails (the engine, tranny, etc.). worth a shot.

Update to the story guys. Our buggies have been recovered thanks to a tipster off of craigslist. These guys are crackheads (literally) and have hit 4-5 properties in our area. Thanks for your help and thoughts guys. Although we are still missing about 10k worth of items the most important ones have been recovered. Thanks again

Had a similar thing happen here in the windsurfing community when some doof ripped off two sailboards, and then listed them on Kijiji 4 days later for a 1/4 of their value ( and they were rare boards ) I say them, called the doof and he gave me all his info. which I forwarded to the police, they busted the guy an hour later, my buddies got their boards back. I listed the doof's info: Cell number, address, everything on the local windsurfing website, and well I guess they (the membership) harrassed him for a couple of days............
