Yeah...yeah...yeah...I know all about making one into a Baja.
I have a '78 SB vert that I'm thinking about converting to a Baja since it used to belong to my Mom and then my son. My question is this...will a one piece fiberglass frontend fit or are the dimenisons of a SB different? I plan to cut off the entire front end, add a full cage and utilize a linkpin beam.

It is not a direct fit because of the curved windshield pushes the rear edge of the hood forward. But a little triming and they do fit.
Post some pictures, I will bet a vert Baja with the curved WS will look great. |

Thanks for the reply...I was more worried about the body width.
Finishing up our Class 5 Unlimited build and then we'll start on the vert...should be around the first of December...I'll start a new thread with all of the build stuff. |

glad to see that you and your car were okay at the sweetwater 200 race this past weekend... i rode shotgun with jps1145 in his baja....
