You can use a three jaw puller to pull the drum off the spindle. I've had to do that before with a stuck bearing. Surprisingly, it popped right out after that.

Do as kyle suggests or you can try something like a dent puller with a curve on the end.
Or get a long bar with a flat end, from the center of the bearing, pry up on the end that is not embedded but dont use the other side of the bearing as leverage, get a brick or somthing to use as a pivot point.
Break free works great, if you can find a can in your area
Yea, it should break, they are only sand cast. |

| Uh, may be a stupid question, but did you back the brakes off? There is usually a wear pattern inside the drum which creates a ring along inner edge of drum. Properly adjusted brake shoes will NOT bypass this ring. May save you the hassle of finding a puller!! |

by racer, I guessing Race, without the race, how can a bearing get stuck, there is a major gap without the race,, unless the new bear lodge inside the hub,,
if you saying you need to put in a new race and the old one is still in there, just turn the drum over, use a long punch even a lager screw driver.. with the tip feel around at the race ,, there's a lip. some drums even have a notch just some you can driver out the race,,
thei puller is a great idea, but will end up taking you 10x's the amount of time, if it even works.. That lips is maybe an 1/8" wide getting one of those pullers to grab that lip will be a real feat, |

It was a 6" puller, took me about 5 minutes. You just have to keep the center "screw" perpindicular to the drum so the arms stay even, no problems slipping off, but I did wear safety glasses!
The others made good points, though. Check those things first...I hadn't even thought about the brake pad/drum lip.
