I was wondering about the tail light location myself.
Did you relocate them to fit the look of the pressed bumpers and brake light decklid?
I dont think they made high tail light DCs unless you count Binz.
If so that is good planning, now it all looks "correct" even though one was never made (I dont think).
Hope this will be at the OCTO/classic I would love to check it out.

Yes that is exactly what I did. I just wanted it to look like it was factory.
It will be at the OCTO and the Classic I might even take it to Kelly park but that's up in the air........

Im running the correct tail light lights for it.... This is from dropgates.com

1959=>1962
59-62
Specs: New taillight position.
Holes were moved 12mm OUT and 100mm DOWN from where they currently were. Also 2 notches were added to the hole to clear the screw holes (see pic) the hole itself was the same size.

I know the hole notches are correct for the year of your truck but not correct for the year of the decklid so I was curious as why you were'nt going to run the earlier taillights to match the decklid and complete the early look.

Don't get me wrong your truck is coming together nicely and I like the early options you have chose!

You going for this?

On the tailight hole location.... Very cool not making the truck a high taillight model clone! Your efforts and hours in this have really come together. Just finish it!! :D

Yeah I really would have liked to spend the 600 to 700 hundred for a set of repop bubble tail lights but I just couldnt bring myself to when I have two NOS sets of the later glass ones laying around.

Man, That looks great! At first, I was not thinking I would dig the early upgrades, such as non recessed door, pressed bumpers and decklid, but I love it and think you killed it. Good Job Bro.....Ok, I will quit Nutswinging as people call it.... :D

Check your FB mailbox Corey

Not sure if you are every on there but I had a question regarding your J bars for turning the DC on the side.

EDIT: looking back at the pics, not sure that would work for the SC. :?
