| I've been chasing rattles and vibrations all over my rail. I took it all apart today and replaced the old crushed rubber gromets. I got a used drag slick for next to nothing and cut it into new dampeners. It has a nice soft compound and a cloth/nylon woven belts so the whole tire is useable, not just a strip on the sidewall like steel belted. Spend a Friday night at the strip and you can get a nice used tire for around 5 bucks. Just thought I'd pass along a cheap tip.. |
