| i pulled out my shift rod to change my shift rod bushing and not only was the bushing gone but the shift rod had a few dings and dents in it. is it bad to have a dented shift rod or will it not affect it at all? |

| If its not too badly dented? the area that rides in the bushing (6 or so inches ) is the most important area. That should be dent free. Also the area that mounts for the coupler should be in good shape |
