I am going to build my own 3 x 3 armswhat size pipe should I use for the bushings where the arms mount to the torsion housing

i dunno the size, but use tubing and not pipe.

DOM tubing. The bushings diameter determines you ID. Chances are you'll need to machine it.

NOT PIPE....... Tubing.... Preferable DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel), it is stronger than "pipe" and has better precision to "sizing"....

Pipe is a dirty word here.

1 3/4" OD Tubing .125" wall thickness will work for the SACO (yellow colored) trailing arm bushings.
I would recommnend either using DOM or chromoly tubing.

The SACO bushings do not squeak as much as the red urethane ones.
