Ive got a sedan(green one in my avatar) looking to get some fenders from a yard and wanted to see some photos showing how you cut the fenders and mounted the headlights, be it on the fender itself or straight to the body or however you've managed.

btw: My front bumper is just a rig of brackets to a piece of 2in straight tubing. Thinking of possibly getting something legit.

Stock metal fenders, taped a line, cut it with a scroll saw, repeat on the other side.

What is the rubber you used on the lip of the fender here?

Self stick door edging from Pepboys. Been on there for a year so far. The key to cutting a fender is not to go to high. You want to keep some of the metal where it rolls down to keep it somewhat ridged. Came out ok and they are doing better than my FG rear fenders.

Or you could put them in the nose with a Bug Eye kit. No more concern about big tires hitting the headlight buckets.

I use headlight assemblies from a 1971 Renault R10.

Here is how I cut mine I still have to do something with the head light but it works good for now.

I cut my fenders like the Emory baja, then welded brackets for the stock buckets underneath. Not for everyone but I like the look.

headlights are bolted to the bumper in buckets
stock hood and fiberglas fenders.
