I have 14 inch rims on front of my lowered super, will the after market disc brake set-up fit? I have 1/4 in wheel shims now(to clear ball joint stud) and rims still touch when super is lowered all the way. so it is up 2 inches from bottom, to clear.
Also, do i need check valves to use calipers? |

None of the kits that use the Ghia disc and caliper will fit inside a 14" rim.
At least that is what I was told by the guy behind the counter when I was shopping for mine. |

all supers here had factory disc brakes and the big thing in the 80s was 14" rims
they fit fine although some offsets used to rub on the splash plate under hard cornering
im pretty sure ghias had the same disc brake setup as bugs |
