Even though most folks hate the spare tire you may want to keep it that way.

It's the best way to present a recognizable concept without creating trademark issue by using a vw logo.

Yeah, I agree about the logo/tire. Maybe swap in a peace symbol... even though there is a huge anti-hippie contingent amongst bus owners.

Glad you're cooperative about it - just having fun. Cool to work with people who feel the same way. Some "artists" get all defensive about stuff.

Red or orange in shirt color with black Bus drawing??? Don't put a peace symbol on there, put on the spare tire or leave it blank IMO

why do you want to do them one at a time? I have a contact who prints/ sells promotional items. The more you buy the cheaper the order is. I am curious to know why you don't go that route? I have have more complex t-shirts made for less than $10 a shirt. (I ordered around 100 shirts)

i still think that one shirt with 4 DIFFERENT busses on it in a square would satisfy EVERYONE. :wink:

Not doing one at a time, that would be crazy. Setup and cleanup is the hardest part. Not sure where you got that idea.

TOTALLY with you on the Warhol pop-art idea. May be a little more effort, but so much cooler! It could showcase all the different Bays on one shirt.

Picture this with Bays instead of Marilyn Monroe :shock:

That's a LOT more effort. Every color adds hours to the process, literally.

Glad to have everyone's feedback and excitement though. Keep it coming. A 1 or 2-color pop-art thing might be a cool compromise, but not as colorful. I will for sure play with a lot more design ideas, you'll be seeing those next week. It's time to have a drink (or 6). Signin' off for a while!

Count me in on an order for a tin-top shirt when you've got em. Also, my wife has really been wanting a women's shirt with a bus on it, so if you're planning to make women's sizes, please send a message.

I just mean that each and every shirt is hand printed (not made by machine)... not that I am doing them as ordered. I'll do a big batch in my garage, all at once.

More info coming up! Ladies shirts! Of course.

Even if you don't do a whole plethora of colors, the 1- or 2-color pop art would be rad. Maybe even black with white accents on a colored shirt? That way, you could even narrow it down to a single shirt design because everyone's Bus would be on the same shirt! :D

I can picture it; it would be badass. Have one lowered, one with a raised poptop (Westy, Rivi, hell even Dormobile...whatever flavor the fan favorite is), have a truck, and any other variety worth showing...I would be all over that man!!

yea, i didnt neccesarily mean as colorful as a warhol job, but just the general design, 4 different bays all in a square like that, even if they were all the same color would be sure to satisfy everyone.
