im welding in pivots for irs on the baja but am also raising the suspension, i do not want any camber at ride height. to position the pivots could i just bolt the trailing arms up to the springplates and set the wheels where i want them and then weld the pivots on ?

You want a little camber at ride height. Since trailing arms have camber change as they cycle, it you have none at ride height, you will have more positive camber at full droop...... Roll over machine......

by that logic, even leaving your car at stock height you have a roll over machine and lifting it from stock would make it even worse.
