i recently took out my engine to fix a clutch problem, when i put my engine back in everyone seemed to be working fine, a few days latter my car starts making a rat-at-at noise, i kinda turned the blind eye figuring it would go away... but i was wrong.
the car makes no noise when i first turn it on after running it for a couple of minutes the noise comes on and gets progressively louder, and my car starts shaking alot.
the noise seems to be coming from the valve covers, but my motor only has about 500 miles on it.
i run a after market oil cooler, could it be that this is restricting the oil from getting to my motor?
i was also told that this could be due to water getting in my carb. or water getting in my spark plugs.
please i need some help...
thank you.. luis |

| My guess, adjust the valves. If the covers are full of oil, you don't have an oil delivery problem. |
