Hello everybody. I have been a member of the Samba for close to a year now and I haven't participated as much as I would like to so I figured I would post some information about my bus. I bought my bus just over a year ago now and I've done quite a bit of work to it. I'll post my before and after pictures and I'll keep updating more pictures as I continue to work on my bus. Please comment and make any suggestions you wish. Thanks a lot everyone. Here are some before pictures:

So did you take it from the green and white bus to the red and white bus?? I'm a little confused, how did you turn it into a panel van from a non-panel van??? Or is the red/white bus a different bus? :?: :?:
Is it from this:
To this?:
Either way, looks great! Keep up the good work! |

Yes that is the same bus. I welded panels where the windows were and did the body work. |

| The original engine I bought with the bus was bad so I found a Porsche 412 I believe and we dropped the engine from it and we modded it to fit in the bus. If anyone is interested I can post so pics of the engine in the bus. also all of my pictures are available on my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/32467183@N05/sets/72157622660519618/ |

I got an email on youtube from a guy who had just turned 16, got a license and the first thing he did was take a road trip in his bus. I think it's great to see people in your age group realizing that these sweet rides are so much groovier than some pimped out Honda. Chicks dig em too.

That's fine.It will help people get an idea of how to close in their rear windows.I'm sure there are more people out there wanting to do it too. |
