Needless to say my shooting abilities with darts went downhill drastically after the chilled maker's mark.
Perhaps it was someone on the other team you were playing against?
Very cool idea, pumpkins are cheap.
Thanks, and yes that is always a possibility! ;) However my opponents were doing about as horrible as I was. hehe
Still looking for part of my tripod to get a good night photo for you guys, looks really nice! |

I'd love to see it from behind at night while it's driving... Shame all of my friends that can drive manual are scared to death of trying to drive the thing.
I tell them: they drive it a few times, they will get the Air-Cooled fever and never look back. I know of a about 6 ppl that own/drive buses in my area (acquaintances I've met once or twice, not close with these folks YET). The more the merrier though, as long as the buses are cared for as they should be.
Anyone else doing anything to their bays for Halloween?
Please share ideas/photos if so :) |

Great pumpkin!
Ok, here's how to get the pumpkin smashers:
Go to the same bar and park in the same place. When you climb up and open the pumpkin to turn off the light, remove and replace the light with a plastic cup full of the liquid of your choice (flamables and dangerous chemicals would be a bad and illegal choice but anything relatively harmless is fair game). Now you just leave the loaded pumpkin in place (I wouldn't even bother to re-secure it) and when the pumpkin smasher grabs it and pulls it down the cup falls over and whatever liquid was in there flows out the eyes and mouth all over the smasher's head. You could even post a sign in the back window, "Warning! Pumpkin protected by silent security device."
Scooter
P.S. The only downside to the above scenario is the very real possibility that Mr. Pumpkin Smasher might flip out and trash your bus. Probably best not to make enemies but it makes for an amusing mental movie. |

I like this: "Warning! Pumpkin protected by silent security device."
Maybe "WARNING: Handle pumpkin at your own risk!"

I could get a crap pumpkin, and fill said cup with some kind of dye/ink.
Yeah I'd be afraid of pumpkin smasher freaking out and dropping the pumpkin anyway, defeating the whole purpose of my good one not being smashed!
Good idea though... I'll think of something creative, probably related to what you've mentioned! |

Taking mine to a river party/bonfire/local band fest down the street on the 31st. Been to it every year for at least 9 years, never had a bay though to sleep in!
I'll consider it camping because I'm sure I'll pass out in the bay. :) |

Yeah, the turnsignal was bitchin'
That's the hazzards flashing (show's something works on the bus). With the pumpkins lit and a fog machine going it put on a good display. I guess you had to be there. Here's some day pics so you can rip a little more.

| Oh that's better, we can see it now! Your night picture was really super dark it was hard to tell what exactly was going on. I love it when pumpkins look like they are barfing! 8) |
