| Looking at changing to led tail and brake lights.The style that I need is a pedistal mount With a 1/2 inch stud as the mount and the wires run inside the stud.The led's I want have 3 wires 1 of which is a ground. Does the light ground through the stud.? or will I need to use the ground wire on the led light? I have 6 lights on my rail so adding 6 more wires inside 1&1/2 tubing might be difficult. |

You can ground it to the stud/frame with no problems. I have my leds grounded to the stud...
