| Nice score, at least it ran at some point in its life. People put the most asinine things in ads when they're trying to sell a vehicle. I for one hope there's a dictionary in it somewhere, and that the OP puts it to good use. |

| Nice! and relatively solid looking for a truck, even the gates ain't bad. That bed full of shit is a recipe for a rusty deck though, hopefully you can get it under control easily. Looks like a 69 to me. |

Yep thats what I said when I saw it. thay are getting a new title today the old one was lost. the guy who owned it died last week and his son is selling it. When I went over to see it yesterday thay just came home from the fueral whice made me feel kind-a creepy. It mite say 70 on the title but I think I will find its a late 69. there also 2 ovels sitting with it but he said his not selling them I gave him my card who know's. |

well I got it home and I almost sure I know this vw from my youth. there is only a couple of these bay single cabs up here in Alaska and I have over 25 years working on vw's and have never even driven one of these vw's. I only know of 4 up here at all. When I was in high shcool there was 2 that sat behind a sheet metal shop the owner would'nt part with one for love nor money. thay sat there for years then one day one of them got in a wreck the nose was wasted then thay were gone not to be seen this was in the late 70's. I now get one and I see it has had the nose replaced not real good but been done. this one is the same year color and all. so Iam going to try to find out some how. its going to need some work but will be running this weekend. Oh and the M plate date's it as 11/68 the title has it at a 70 the number's are the same but date is off so will have to get that fixed. it should be titled as a 69.
