So, routing a speedometer cable seems pretty straight forward . . .the part I have a question about is the path it should take around the steering box in a 71 super.
Is there a particular way to do this so it stays out of the way of the universal shaft and the steeringbox/ pitman arm?
I ask because it seems like mine was recently chewed up by my steering box. :?

| If anyone is interested . . .I figured it out. There is a hole with a grommet in it right by where the universal shaft joins the steering box . . . I had missed this the first time and shredded my Speedo cable. No problem this time. |
