Does any body know of anybody that builds a header for class 11 cars?
I have a cheap Empi header with a single QP right now and dont like how the "J" tube hang down under the heads. I may try to build my own.

check out class 11 colition, the j tube idea is a good one they are below the heads but not below the oil pan your skid plate should protect both.

Use a thing header they sit higher but you will have to cut the apron.

Use a mexican beetle header, tucks under and fits the sheet metal, but dosn't interfere with the skid plate. Alot of 11 guys run it, you can cut the can off it and go with a pipe and super trapp if you wish.

Blitz, any images of the pipe/supertrap mod? Wondering how to route it, I've been thinking of this type of mod.

I have a 2L engine in mine, so the stock exhaust wouldn't work for me. I used Kymco's Thing header as ottvw mentioned. It tucks up out of the way with a modified hide-a-way type muffler. I even added provisions for the pre-heat tubes for a single carb. (check my gallery for more pics)

I like that set up ..Do you have to remove the muffler to adjust your valves?

Unfortunately, yes. It's just the header attachment and one bolt at the other end, so it's not a big deal. I'd rather pull it off when I need to than have it ripped off by something unexpected.
