Actually I was very successful with 3 door screws that just did not want to come out with an impact wrench. It just stripped the hell out of them :( .
One screw left. This one presents a differrent challenge. It is just spining and loose, but still in enough to prevent pulling the door off. Any ideas???
To get the door off I could pull the hinge pin. Bentley says use a tool to push it out and to not try and drive it out. Is this really the case - do I have to buy a special tool to do this? If I can drive the pin out - does it matter which way i.e., bottom up or top down. Thanks!!!!!

I took a hinge oin out of my 63 Singlecab and it took 2 days of heating and pounding and finally drilling all the wat through what a pain, Even if you get the pin out you will have to deal with the screw if you are going to reinstall the door. you may have to cut the post to access the nut on the back side, if you do cut it save the piece you cut out so it can be welded back in and refinished.

If any one is interested, I wound up drilling this last screw out. I lost the threads on this hole, but ...... The back side of this hole (actually the plate) can be reached -- behind the hood hinge -- so on re-assembly I will by a longer screw and lock washer and nut.
