we are officially 1 month away today! everything is in place for a great party and drag race. i have gotten 36 sponsors for this year! so now i can go to print with trophies, plaques, signs, and t-shirts. here are all of the sponsors for this year. show them some love for helping out with putting this shindig on!

also, let me know if you guys have any ideas for stuff at the event.

I just got confirmation that not only will Roger Crawford/Motion Sickness/Heads Up Performance and VW Paradise/The Lauffers be making the trip so will THE RED BARON! Thanks Scott and Eric for doing this! Spread the word everyone! This may be the fastest east coast VW race to date! :o :o :o

This show/drag is going to be off the hook. We hope to be bringing a good number of VW's up from Florida. Can't wait to get there.

so what are the plans for the majority of people, camping at the track friday and saturday night or staying in the hotel 10 minutes away?

i think that a lot of people are camping sat night at the track. i am. the party will be at the track after the race. the friday party will be at the wild wing in north charleston. people will be staying at the ramada inn across the street. you could drive on up to track and camp there if you wanted. the manager is staying at the track on friday night for that reason. then there is a party at my house on the monday after the event. so all in all there will be plenty of party time! i hope i have a few minutes to race my cars!

Don't forget Scott, we will be having a get-together at our beach house during the week also.

PM me Mike, we are staying in J'ville Thursday night and heading out to Charleston, SC on Friday midday. Sounds like we may have a good size caravan heading up. Several guys are coming up from Miami.
